RONKONKOMA, NY — FLIGHT, the renowned multi-experience family entertainment venue with a strong presence in the United States and Canada, has unveiled the highly-anticipated re-launch of its 26,000 sq. ft. park in Ronkonkoma. This transformation introduces a captivating blend of aviation and space-themed attractions, solidifying FLIGHT’s commitment to providing a unique and immersive experience for its visitors.
The Ronkonkoma venue is the second FLIGHT location to undergo a complete overhaul and retrofitting, following the successful reopening of the Springfield venue last August. The extensive transformation of the Ronkonkoma park includes the creation of revamped attractions inspired by the awe-inspiring realm of human flight in both air and space.
To celebrate this monumental renovation and mark a significant milestone for the company, Flight Adventure Park had organized a grand reopening extravaganza scheduled from December 1 to December 2. The Friday celebration was graced by the presence of the legendary aviator Captain Hoot Gibson, a former five-time NASA Astronaut and TOPGUN graduate.
Having become an integral part of the Ronkonkoma community, FLIGHT Adventure Park has consistently provided family-friendly adventure and fun throughout the year. The relaunch aims to welcome patrons back to the park, offering an entirely new and exhilarating experience. Among the highlights of the newly retrofitted attractions are activities like bailing out of an “aircraft” into a giant airbag, hopping from planet to planet, climbing through a shuttle, and descending the evacuation slide of an aircraft – all within the Lunar Park, a massive 1,900 sq. ft. inflatapark.
Another exciting addition is the Lunar Sports Court, where guests can slam dunk and engage in thrilling games of dodgeball. The birthday party rooms have undergone a creative transformation, now featuring aircraft, spacecraft, and helicopters equipped with educational facts designed for kids to explore and enjoy.
